My Bio
Until Oct. 1971, Donnie Sax Sanders was a Las Vegas entertainer at Caesar's Palace and tour the Nevada circuit of Reno and Lake Tahoe! Bandleader and saxophonist, singer-songwriter and record producer are just some of his attributes.
Donnie moved to Nashville, Tn. In 1972 to be in the center of the music industry and work as a studio musician to produce records on other clients. Having written over 500 songs and producing one gold... and one platinum album to his credit.
You have heard him play his saxophones on hit records for such artists as Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Conway Twitty... and three albums for the late blues artist James Brown to mention a few. Today, you will hear Donnie as a full time gospel music artist and doing the work of a musical evangelist... when he is not in the studio! Check out his latest recording “WHO CARES” that is just released on Clean Artist Records! Definately a man of many talents!
